I have a fight July 14th and I just took a week off of boxing i mean ive done a little bit this week i spared once and workedout one day. But i haventt trained hard for this fight physically, Since my last fight ive improved a lot mentally. Its just weird that i feel ready for this fight and i havt really trained for it my last fight i was really nervous and trained 10 times harder, but right now i dont really care i just wanna fight. I trained hard today and it was suprising to me that i did 33 minutes straight on the jumprope and a whole 2 workouts after that i stayed in the gym for 4 hours training hard, buit my energy level felt good and i did get out of breath easy, and for most of you are gonna say oh **** when you hear that i havent done a bit of roadwork in about 7mionths, i know i starting tommorow. Alls ive been doing is jumproping hard for long amounts of time i started at 6 min and worked up to 33 so far... I feel ready, i have good technique,, fast hands, and a lot of pop...so should i fight or should i not...most likely im gonna fight but what do you guys think of the situation.

Fight bro. It is experience. You want all the experience you can get. Life is short.

If you feel confident you should fight. I mean one week off of training is sometimes good for the body. Sounds like your ready to go four rounds if you can jump rope for 33 minutes.

What it boils down to is fight if you feel prepared. Don't get into the ring if you're out of shape and mentally unprepared just so you can have fights under your belt. (Although it doesn't sound like this is the case for you.)

So if you think you're ready, go ahead. If not, just keep working hard so you'll be ready to go next time.

No use in potentially injuring yourself or damaging your confidence by getting in the ring if you aren't in fighting shape.
