I was listening to the Radio on kslx talk radio and they were talking about sports and gay sports players that are in the closet.

A caller said if a UFC fighter came out of the closet it would give the UFC even more exposure and any publicity is good publicity and the more the sport grows even it be a death, or an openly gay fighter the better because controversy sells.

The only way it would help out the sport is if this gay fighter was a total badass and just beat the ever loving **** out of everybody. Otherwise he would take a lot of **** everywhere he went.

LMAO! but seriously i dont think it would be in the fighters best interest to be open about his homosexuality. Due to said mentioned other fighters being hesitant to face him for various moral and medical reasons.

i dont necessarily think it would be good or bad for the sport i just feel it would make the fighters career alot more difficult, in terms of moving up the ladder

I thought about how a boxer would feel if they were to lose to a gay boxer.Considering that boxing is a "manly" sport!

I cant see at all how it could help the sport, only hinder it.

1. THe macho kids really think gays are wuss and not manly and they want a man sport

I don't think I'd care. I always feel rather ****y around gay men because I'm 100% certain they fancy me and they can't have me.

As for the sport, it wouldn't affect the sport at all, good or bad. It'd ruin the fighters career if he wasn't a stand out fighter.

Emile Griffith was a gay boxing world champion. Some of these comments are ridiculous - the AIDS, the "not wanting a half naked guy..." - if you're not ready to fight in MMA, you'll get your ass kicked whether your opponent is gay, straight, bi, into bestiality, jerks off to cooking shows, whatever...

Actually Emile Griffith has been in the news for other stuff too. He killed Benny Paret in the ring. Paret had actually called Griffith a '***got' (in Spanish) at the weigh-in and Griffith had to be restrained. Griffith did suffer from remorse about that fight. Griffith was also beaten badly in 2005, allegedly while leaving a gay bar. Griffith never actually admitted to being gay, but speculation is that he is.

He also suffers from the same condition that Ali suffers from, and requires full time care.

Where does this fantastic misconception come about that homosexuals are perpetually horny? Honestly, I wouldn't want to roll with a ***. I've heard something anything from 17-30% are gays in the military, hey thats on them, I just don't want to be in his guard or vice versa.
