how does amateur boxing work? is it by weight? age? cause if your old and light could you be fighting a little kid?

nah man juniors are 16 and under once your 17 your considered senior and can fight anyone 17-34 years old, i know a few 16 year olds that compete in senior division though because they want higher competetion even though there not supposed to

In england you got three divisions. Junior, School Boy and Senior. School boy is 11-13 (I think), School Boy is 13-16 and Senior is 17+. Then you got the weights inside that.
