American or Japanese?

the guy who wrote the novel that the movie was based on (I think the book was "Spiral") is the one quoted in my Sig. that quote is in response to a "Ring" question.

I haven't seen The Ring but my prefference is get "Ringu"..
What about "Dark Water"?...

cant order Dark Water in the states I believe cause Hollywood bought the rights.

"Dark Water" was directed by the same guy who directed Ringu and I heard people say that it was scarier and others say it was about the same as Ringu.

WTF?? Can't you see Dark Water?
I've seen the trailer and it looks very scary...A woman, a child, some lone flats, and water...mmmm....

possibly if I find an independant distributor.

Kato and I watched it last night and thought is was not that great of a movie. I mean it was not bad and the ending was less than predictable. I was left with a lot of questions...and I guess I was expecting to be scared ****less

the american version has dry parts. The japanese version is a gradual build to a conclusion.

plus Samara (Sadoka in Japanese version) looks ****ing crazier.
