Lil Wayne use to idolize the jigga man.
I don't think he does anymore, but he did.

I don't "dislike" Lil Wayne because he's from the south.
I dislike him because he claims to be the best rapper alive yet he spews out the same stuff on mixtapes that he does on studio albums (I don't mean he recycles rhymes - just subjects).

We'll see how the Carter III does.
He can still win me over if he impresses me with the Carter III.

If it's the same subject garbage over and over, **** him.

What do you think, Versatile?

Versatile, you there?

Jay Z can't mess with Lil Wayne....If its a boafide diss that Jay threw out there then he will eventually get his a$$ ate up by Wayne...bet that..

The dude has awesome flow...He destroys every track he touches..Example being "Haters"...That beat is wack as hell be he killed it..

Nah. His subject matter is weak and limited.
His album are almost predictable.

But Like Rosetown said, he has a crazy flow.
And he does say catchy ****.

You can say that about most rappers. If you come to listen to him with you not liking him on your mind right off the bat. Most likely you wont like him later on.Even if there style and subject's has changed.

I disagree.
Tha Carter 1 impressed me.
He came a long way from 500 degreez to Tha Carter 1.
After that, you got some Mixtapes he did and then the Carter 2, which didn't impress me at all.

I will be fair and wait until the Carter 3 before I say anything else though.

You are so right about the coming along way part Jack...But I have to disagree with you saying his skills are limited..This dude wrecks everybodys tracks, not just his own..

The Carter one was crazy because he was on that whole "I dont write" tip..Now its all blow and go..maybe I'll right & maybe I'll freestyle..Either way he is a beast and every artist in the industry is wanting him on their ****..

I also think the Carter 3 is going to be it...I can see new heights with this album...If not then I will be very surprised..

i couldnt stand wayne before carter 1, but that turned me into a fan. Carter 2 was his best work to date IMO and I have low expects for 3 just because I see it laced with Storch, Timbo, high profile nonsense. What made Carter 2 was a consistant sound.

Jay-Z should have dissed TI on that CD, and TI really shouldn't feature artists that show him up on the track...

That was T.I.P. on that track.
And besides, he calls himself the King of The South.
Meaning he does it for the South.

The way your **** sounds < What you're saying - in the South.

Anybody tell you different, they're lying.

I think he did his thing on that track.

T.I. depended on his flow too much for this album. Really not as strong lyrically as it should be. Jay had the best verse on the album. Very nice verse from Jay. Overall T.I. put out a solid album. But that Em track was weak to me. And a few other songs. Other than that it was a good album.

Its decent so far. Nothing close to what King was.

I skimmed through it. Its pretty weak overall. Busta spit the best verse on the album.

Learn your ****. Wayne openly admits that T.I. is the king of the south on his version of Top Back.

T.I. is better than Wayne. Theres more to rap than punchlines, but people are on his dick with that. He's nice, not THAT nice.

Kobe Bryant

I don't think T.I. is touchin Wayne. He doesn't have the best punchlines but who cares I enjoy his music he's definitely entertaining in my book. Wayne is better than T.I. to me. T.I. has a nice flow but most of the time he ain't sayin much.

His punchlines aren't even that strong either.
T.I's flow and voice > Wayne's flow and voice

He has much better song-making ability too.

Nah I can't agree atleast Wayne switches his flow up. And about the songs I would give you that but T.I.'s songs sound repetitive to me. Like You could switch the titles tot he songs around and get the same feel.
