Jimmy The Gent 06-29-2007, 07:47 AM It would probably be more inconveniant to do 2 different runs, imo a 4 miler on its own would improve your stamina more as you are not resting and doing it straight msagrain 06-29-2007, 07:51 AM if i was you ido all my exercise at the same time PunchDrunk 06-29-2007, 08:15 AM 2 miles is long enough for amateur conditioning. Running 4 will only make the intensity lower. Therefore doing 2 miles twice, with higher intensity (you can run 2 miles at a higher pace than 4 miles) will burn more calories and be better for (amateur) boxing conditioning. msagrain 06-29-2007, 08:20 AM just on it on 5mph on the higest incline for 3 miles thats a good jog/run for amature Jimmy The Gent 06-29-2007, 10:26 AM 2 miles is long enough for amateur conditioning. I do my 4 mile run at the same pace as my 2 miler PunchDrunk 06-29-2007, 12:28 PM I do my 4 mile run at the same pace as my 2 miler Then you're not going fast enough on your 2 miler ;) kwill7 06-29-2007, 01:37 PM Then you're not going fast enough on your 2 miler ;) I agree with punch drunk, about how long does it take you to run 2 miles? PunchDrunk 06-29-2007, 02:56 PM It's really simple, and anyone who's ever tried to run 2 miles and 4 miles would know this; The longer the distance, the slower you'll run.
