And I attempted to get ahold of her just to see how she was doing a few months back. Well, I found her, and got ahold of her. It was good to talk to her again, see how she's doin and stuff.... she's not as well off as I would've liked to hear, but she's surviving and getting by, and that's really all that matters.

We talked for a bit, but then outta nowhere, she just stopped callin me. I'm bettin $10 on the fact that she took an afront to the fact that I've got a daughter... which is fine by me, cuz if that constitutes a reason to hop off the Dave Wave for some chick, chances are that chick probably didn't belong on a wave of such magnitude and caliber to begin with.

BUT, the thing that pisses me off here is that she just simply stopped calling, no explanation or reason. I guess that's cool, it's a peaceful resolution and a nice neutral way of saying "sorry, no sale", but it's not like I was hittin her up to go out on a date or ****... I just wanted to see how she was doing. We were really close in high school and were good friends to each other for awhile there. It sucks that she's gotta get all pissy with me now. I'm not angry about it, but... okay, maybe I'm kinda angry about it. It's just another thing that makes me hate the position that hobag ex of mine put me in. Dave...I think you have to thouroughly investigate the motives for peoples actions before jumping to any conclusions...there are about 1 million reasons why she wouldn't have called lately, perhaps 6 are bad...

I don't think I'm jumping to conclusions by assuming that a girl in her early 20's is intimidated by a man who has a child in his early 20's. In this situation, that's not assumption, that's reflex.
