I've seen a few threads in the past complaining about boxing coverage in britain (which i agree is fairly poor). But i was just wondering which newspaper people think give the best boxing coverage? n what boxing magazines people read? At the moment i just read boxing monthly, and occasionally buy the ring. Can't deicde on the paper because they are all fairly dismal. The daily star had good coverage of the ricky hatton fight, i also bought the daily mail and it didn't even say anything about the fight on the back page.

I always get Boxing News,Boxing Monthly, all the tabloids are pretty much the same when it comes to boxing coverage IMO. Your best bet to read boxing news thats regularly updated is this site.

I buy boxing monthly sometimes.

I like the Sun this past week- they held a Ricky Hattons diary. It was pretty cool seeing him chilling out at the pool or on the town etc.

Other than that, i think the sun have a column every friday ... other than that... i think crown green bowling gets more coverage.

Very poor show. Its quite disapointing really.

The News Of The World covers boxing regularly, Warrens column worth a read but it gets tiresome when hes digging Hatton out.

The Mirror isn't bad for a tabloid on Boxing coverage but as you have all said Boxing on the whole is not covered well.

If Calzaghe walked through the streets of London hardly anyone would notice him, imagine Beckham or a number of footballers doing that they would be mobbed.

Boxing needs a higher profile again in this country!

Yeah they good mate but they not in enough depth. Boxing News is the best for in depth coverage thats regular and up to date.
