anthetamine 10-18-2004, 10:20 AM Which Of These 2 (if Don King Goes Ahead With His Plans) Will Be Hosting The 'bigger Fights'
I Think That If Donkey Gets His Own Channel It Will Damage Boxing To A Massive Extent, He Will Probably Make His Own Belt Up And Have That As His Main Attraction
The Man Is Pathetic And Corrupt, What Does This Mean To Boxing

why would king make a new belt, he controls one of the belt's through suliamon and its not like his money ain't what made the belt in the first place.
if kings network has ameteur fights, profights, classic fights, m.m.arts, k-1, and a boxing news show with scores interviews and results from around the world then it couldn't possibable be bad for the fight game. after all the crap he's done to the ********* this could be the only way to make up for it(theirs no way he can make it up to the fighters he put throught hell).
right now all we got is espn, showtime and h.b.o. and the last two only show fights 2weekends out of the mounth at their busyest, while espn is once a week.
right now boxing is a damn near a cult sport, we need this if boxing is to survive.
if not king someone needs to do it.
bigdaddy 10-18-2004, 01:28 PM He's corupt scum and needs to get out of boxing.

True although HBO holds the cards of better fighters and Nobody will sign with king w/ no ppv dates....No cash in broadcast tv boxing unless MAJOR sponsors come in which isnt likely to happen.
Mr. Ryan 10-19-2004, 02:23 PM I could give a **** less what belts he has, if he can air good fights, its all good.

An Ondemand boxing channel would be nice, Just pick and choose what fights you want to watch. They do that w/ movies so why not?
I wonder if they have to pay the promoter to re-air them and such?
jack_the_rippuh 10-19-2004, 02:58 PM Knowing King there would probably be a monthly membership fee charged directly through the cable company to you so that you can actually have the channel.

Of $49.95
No if he did do the channel, I guarantee you it would be like ondemand services....You would pay 50 bucks for live events and then for past events like $9.95 a piece or something like that....

How I wish this would be....

It would be ok and I wouldnt complain but I think it is kind of unfair to pay 10 bucks for just 1 fight...I better get special features with it as well.....
Plus don could make MAJOR money by putting it ondemand and having an all day ticket of old fights for like $24.95
He would generate a WAD of cash......His ass wouldnt need HBO.
jack_the_rippuh 10-19-2004, 04:26 PM But wouldn't he have to pay alot of different people for showing those fights or does he have the "fights' rights"
