"Ok guys I won last night at the ISCF Winter Wars in Augusta, GA. I won by knockout in 30 seconds. I hit him 2x after he was out kinda like Lawler/Tiki but mine were flush."-ACB(Hybrid Vale Tudo)

I believe they wore Gi's for this fight.

http://www.theiscf.com/ISCFNews.htm has some info on the card, but nothing about the actual fight yet aside from this...

ISCF Amateur Light Heavyweight MMA
Blake Grice of Anderson South Carolina, USA (3-1/3) defeated Byron Whitesides of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, USA (0-2) by KO when Grice SLAMMED Whitesides down to the matt at 30 seconds into round 1.

The 30 second KO must have been pretty sweet! I can't wait to see the video on it.
Like I said, I thought I had you. I was suprised at the quick turn of events and glad you posted the win.

Byron you went for an arm. I am not sure how much you remember (when I got knocked out I didn't remember anything). If you could go back in time you probably should have scarf choked me from there and then more importantly LET GO when I stood up with you in my guard!! :) If you had let go the fight would have kept going for sure.
Easier said than done...I know.

Ok I threw a 1,2 but missed. I could see it in your eyes that you were ready to either punch or shoot in so I figured I would move first. I missed with the punces and we clinched. You went for a hip throw but I didn't go over...instead I kinda landed on your back and you had me in a side headlock. As I yanked my head out you turned and pulled guard. You immediately went for my right arm....not a traditional straight armbar....I mean your hips did't escape...but I could tell you were securing that arm for something. So- I jerked it out and we went down...me in your closed guard. I thought to myself "no way am I gi grappling with a gi grappler" so instead of passing the guard I stood up. You held on and I was able to stand up all the way vertical. You were kinda on my chest basically. So- I jump up and slam you- 200 pounds coming on top of you. It knocked you out about 80%. Your mouth opened, eyes rolled, and your head turned to the side. I tagged you one time at about 60% just to make sure. I would love to say that was it but for some reason I raised up and hit you again with a straight right as hard as I could. It landed flush on your left jaw and did not glance at all. Cam tackled me and that was that. You were out for a few minutes. Again- I should have probably stopped after the slam and definitely after the first punch but hey.... it was the heat of battle. And as you know- I have apologized a thousand times for it :) Glad you are felling better, relatively speaking. I am just glad its not worse.
If ya'll are wondering what I am talking about- obviously Byron and I fought this past weekend. (full MMA RUles with a gi on)

That is some interesting information that I wasn't aware of. I guess being knocked out had impacted my memory.
Was I going for a figure four armlock?

When you slammed me, did you break my guard?

yeah man your guard broke as soon as we hit. You weren't "out"...but you were definitely almost out. You had my arm secured like you were going to armbar me but it never happened. We went back to the ground immediately. you had my arm and I was still standing...you were kinda hanging on my arm. Thats when I came down and you had me in your guard. I know its weird not being able to remember anything. When I got knocked out- all I remember is my cornermen in the ring taking my gloves off. I told them to get out I HAD TO FIGHT IN A MiNUTE! I had no clue. When Duane Ludwig knocked out Jens Pulver recently- Jens said the next thing he knows he is looking at Pat saying "damn that was a fast round". Had no clue. Its kind of ironic because before we fought, remember you said you "kinda" wanted to know what it felt like to get KO'ed.
