Snap is what knock people out cold. It's like comparing a steel pipe with a chain with a steel ball on the end..

With practice, you can deliver devastating punches that snap. The snap is like a whipcrack; you are tensing and releasing the punch at the moment of impact to deliver the force in the most efficient manner (i.e., the most force in the least amount of time) possible. Also, snapping your punches gets your hands back into your guard better, and leaves you much less vulnerable to counterpunching.

you should always snap ur punches and never push with them. snapping power is of the utmost importance in boxing. like when u hit the heavy bag, if u snap ur punches correctly, the bag shouldnt be flailin around all crazy like and ****. ur not supposed to push with ur punches thats wut gets u KOd.
