I never took them seriously before Mir vs Tank. The only other time I remember seeing one work was Sak vs. Shannon Ritch. What do you guys think of them?

From what some of my buddies whom have been to Brazil tell me toe holds and most ankle locks are forbidden unless your a brown belt or higher. But they could be full of ****, and I dont know cause I've never been to Brazil. Leg locks din't exist until shammy showed it's effectiveness in ufc I believe. Stain 04-22-2003, 08:12 PM they existed before that Mr. Beelzebub 04-23-2003, 10:46 AM Originally posted by Magic Man yep, very true. TuffGuy 05-17-2003, 08:49 AM I love toe hods, ankle locks and knee bars. I use them all the time. Most people dont know how to defend against them very wel because they havent seen them. They are very effective. The Ensanity 05-19-2003, 02:42 PM Originally posted by TuffGuy I love toe hods, ankle locks and knee bars. I use them all the time.
