Serra beat Thomas by a split decision. Apparently it was a bad decision and Thomas should have won.

Vlad comes out with a shoot, Rizzo sprawls. Nice slam. Vlad is going for a front choke. Throwing some punches....not really hurting Rizzo. Closed guard now....Rizzo looks like he trying for a restart. Very slow round so far

Rizzo gets back to his feet when Vlad went to pass guard. Vlad goes for a takedown up Rizzo sprawls well. In the clinch now.....Rizzo goes for the leg sweep but Vlad reverses. Vlad in side control, throwing some nice elbows. Nice short punches and elbows by Vlad. Round 1 is coming to a close. Very slow, but all Vladimir Mathuyshenko.

Apparently Thomas did win the fight with Serra and the score cards were calculated wrong.

Rd 2 starts.

Throwing some jabs at each other. Vlad is cut, and Rizzo puts him on his back. The cut doesn't look too bad. They are back to thier feet. In the clinch against the cage. Vlad is throwing some knees. Landless is stopping to check the cut. Its not bad and they let them keep going. 3 mins left. Vlad shoots and gets a takedown. Closed guard of Rizzo. Rizzo throwing some short strikes from his back, not doing much damage. Vlad staying busy on the ground. He has Rizzo mashed against the cage. They restart the fight on the feet. Vlad shoots again but Rizzo sprawls and avoids it. Rizzo going for a double from the clinch, but Vlad reverses and gets Rizzos back but time runs out.

Vlad seems to of won this round also. I have it 2-0 for Mathuyshenko

Rd 3

Rizzo throws a nice leg kick to start. Rizzo still seems to be holding back. Vlad goes for a shoot and gets it. Vlad is in total control right now. Rizzo seems to be unable to mount any offence. The fight is restarted on the feet. In clinch....Vlad goes for a takedown but Rizzo sprawls well and gets out of it. Rizzo starting to throw a litle bit....but still not enough. Rizzo with a highkick. The fight is over.

Vladimir won this fight 3-0
