Started a weight loss regimen in april and am having the damnest time getting rid of my midsection. The rest of me looks normal but this girth in the middle is a little unreal. I'm afraid if I continue the loss to the point my abs are lean I'm going to get that 'big head on too small a frame' look. Can anybody help?
If you want to make your head look smaller then build your shoulder and back musles, this will give you a wide shape and if your lucky you'll get a v-shape similar to edison miranda. Also if you want to shrink your muslces dnt work on them but that is a bad idead esspecially if you box as when you get hit you'll colapse in a heap. :boxing:

Thanks. Though I'm a big fan and think I have a good mind and athleticism for it, I don't box. I just wanted some good fitness advice from those who would know. My obliques are just gross looking. I'm short, so a wide waste from that makes me look extra stocky in the worst way. Simply put, I have an hour glass shape from chest to waist.
...so what you're saying is once I lose till my midsection and obliques lean, shoulder and back work will counteract the big head effect I don't want?

I had that problem but if you continue to build your shoulders it'll go away casue mine did. But remember keep on a good diet and keep running hard and once you've got no fat left it'll look cool.
