Scott Belshaw (5-0, 4KOS)
This guy is very raw and powerful, I've seen him a couple of times. He can definitely KO people with one punch, his left hook is awesome. But he's slow and very raw, needs to develop more skills. What do you guys make of this ?
number6 06-19-2007, 06:24 AM I've seen 1 or 2 of his fights, its early days yet but i would be surprised if he becomes a threat to the heavyweight division. He does have the size and power but he would need much more than that.
He may end up challenging for domestic honors but i dont think we will see him with a world belt around his waist. He may improve his boxing skills and make huge progress but from the little i have seen of him so far im not convinced he can go towards the top.Still,as i said early days yet.
BodyW8 06-19-2007, 12:11 PM what do you think he needs work on?

He seems to telegraph his blows alot,he looks like a big heavyweight who is raw as you mentioned but he does have the power.
BodyW8 06-21-2007, 06:46 AM Personally i'd say he's similar to George Foreman.
Jazzy Paul 06-21-2007, 01:00 PM hes not from britan. What national team did he fight for as an amatuer?............Rockin':boxing:
He had no choice...prick.

Lennox Lewis was born and raised in London, England. He Fought for Canada as an amateur because he was living in Canada at the time and had little choice, as elegantly pointed out by Jazzy Paul. On turning pro, Lewis decided to fight for his country, England. Lennox Lewis is English, not Canadian.
majestiC 06-21-2007, 01:38 PM Haye is going to whoop ass when he moves up again!

i think rockin was beng tongue in cheek, obviously he is aware of what you guys are saying..
but good job getting all pissed off, one brit after another, and giving him exactly the reaction he was hoping for.
BodyW8 06-28-2007, 02:00 PM I know the guy, he's a likeable guy, and he's got the punchers chance. In fact I think he hits harder than Haye.
CasperUK 06-30-2007, 06:31 PM Danny Williams!!!
BoxingPromoter 06-30-2007, 08:29 PM Scott ****in Gammer baby!!!.....:lol1:
BodyW8 07-01-2007, 08:41 AM Add another first round KO onto that.
ko-kid 07-12-2007, 10:52 AM Watch out for an upcoming heavyweight called Anthony Shaw. Unbeaten in 28 amatuer fights and an awesome all rounder. He will 'crack' heads.
Darkstranger 07-13-2007, 10:21 AM Look no further than Derek Chisora (http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=381739) for a decent British prospect amongst the heavies.
How long has he been a pro for? I remember reading about him at Finchley ABA's site because I was gonna join that club before the one I'm currently at.
