never been much of a weightlifter (not at all actually) but with changin times i realized its beneficial for a fighter to lift weights regardless of all the myths. my question is this, if i'm trying to get down in weight, should i be doin like 18-20 reps per set for like tone and **** or should i do like 2-5 reps per sets for strength, i dono cuz low reps i think would bulk u up, i know most say they wont cuz they are for strength and power only, but a 160 pound power lifter who's very ripped looks WAY bigger and is way more stiff and tighter than a 160 pound fighter with the same percent body fat, and all they do is lift with light reps and heavy weight, so i dono the best protocol if a fighter is comin down in weight how should he lift to maximize the weight loss but not get too tight in the process, or should you not lift untik u r down to ur desired weight, ya feel? thanks for any info this whole weightlifting business confuses the **** out of me maybe i should jus stick to bodyweight exercises i dono.....
