View Full Version : Creatine porlie 06-11-2007, 06:01 PM Does it work or just turn your body to **** like it did for Danny Williams???? K.O 06-11-2007, 09:12 PM Well it works for me, it helps your muscles recover quicker after workoing out. The main concept is:creatine gathers water from your body and pumps it into your muscles, to increase size and recovery. So you have to be sure to drink loads of water. My suggestion would be, go to Wally-world and buy (Body Fortress/creatine monhydrate.) It's cheap so try it out for yourself. And it says your supposed to go through a loading phase>>Disregard<<go through the loading, but only do it for half the time period recommended. Which i think 3 days would be sufficient......Try it out and see what kind of results you get porlie 06-11-2007, 09:16 PM Cheers mate I'll give it a blast I take Lonsdale protein twice a day shall I wait till thats finished or take both together??? K.O 06-11-2007, 09:18 PM It's OK to take both BrooklynBomber 06-11-2007, 09:21 PM Creatine works. At least it worked for me. Good muscle gaining supplement. Too bad I am mostly losing weight now. porlie 06-11-2007, 09:22 PM Nice 1, what kinda gains do you make from it weight wise in a week?? Versastyle 06-11-2007, 09:25 PM Is creatine for ppl that need a push cause they cant gain muscle? Or is it for workout performance also. BrooklynBomber 06-11-2007, 09:25 PM Nice 1, what kinda gains do you make from it weight wise in a week?? It depends on far too many things, your diet, exercise routine, how much water do you drink, etc... BrooklynBomber 06-11-2007, 09:26 PM Is creatine for ppl that need a push cause they cant gain muscle? Or is it for workout performance also. Both, it does not make you stronger but it makes your muscles use the energy more efficiently and thus you could add up 1-2 reps to a set. But it is no wonder pill like hgh. But it is no wonder pill like hgh. hmmm, why not just take energy drinks for those extra reps then. porlie 06-11-2007, 09:29 PM I'll start taking it tomorrow and lets yas know how much Ive gained this time next week. BrooklynBomber 06-11-2007, 09:32 PM hmmm, why not just take energy drinks for those extra reps then. because they are coffeine and a bunch of other crap, creatine, by far, is much healthier. porlie 06-11-2007, 09:35 PM Energy drinks are horrible waters the only thing I drink when training or just before or just after training to rehydrate my self. All those energy drinks are just liquid chemicals. shawn_ 06-11-2007, 10:23 PM I take creatine everyday. doesnt turn you to ****. Taking suplements and thinking you dont have to train because they will do something magical turns you to ****. porlie 06-11-2007, 10:35 PM Williams turned his body to **** and tried to blame Creatine. I know with training you only get out what you put in, was just checking that its good stuff. Hitman932 06-11-2007, 10:48 PM Williams turned his body to **** and tried to blame Creatine. I know with training you only get out what you put in, was just checking that its good stuff. im lviing proof that you can take creatine and lose weight while steadily gaining strength... i have lost 55 pounds in the last 7 months and added nearly 60 pounds to my bench max at the same time.... i mix creatine monohydrate with my protein shakes which i take immediately after working out... if you want to stay slim just take creatine powder that does not have sugar... some like cell tech have up to 37.5g of dextrose sugar to ****e your insulin levels which is outdated imo yrrej 06-11-2007, 11:14 PM Creatine naturally occurs in the body. More is better, but there are different kinds. Some work better for one person, some for another. porlie 06-11-2007, 11:19 PM I'm 6ft4 and 220lbs I dont wanna lose any weight but dont wanna gain loads either (7lbs at the most) I just wanna get stronger but not change my build.I'll get it and take it with my protein and work out the best level for myself. I'll keep away from the high sugar 1s , Hitman your results sound great from it, where you training before you starting taking it, did you want to trim down or werent you exercising prior to your weight loss ???? Awesome mate youve done well to get down to that and increase your strength your hard works paying off. I'll be happy to stay around the weight I am I only train and spar I dont box in competitions so I've no target I want to get to. I'm happy at this weight as I feel strong but not overweight. I'll watch what i'm eating though I do anyway. Cheers for the advice about sugar I dont eat much but I'll drop the sweet stuff and just have fruit instead. Trick 06-12-2007, 04:27 AM Out of curiosity, how are you supposed to take creatine? Right before you workout, right after, the morning? I'm stuck between two weightclasses right now, so I'm thinking of creatine as a temp to help me get up to 69kg, cause for the life of me I can't make 64kg. Damn, what happened to the days of the 67.5kg weightclass, that was perfect for me... porlie 06-13-2007, 02:48 PM I've been taking the creatine 3 times a day I feel stronger already Domain 06-13-2007, 03:12 PM Creatine is what gives you that extra edge but when you stop using it and lifting you lose all the muscle sometimes...especially if its creatine mono the older stuff. that made me put 15 pounds mostly water and i lost 20 pounds after and im skinnier now which sucks. but get the new **** like creatine etyhl ester and **** like that. lilb 06-13-2007, 07:22 PM will creatine get u ripped. or just huge. |
