Trick 06-11-2007, 09:28 AM The ability to get down and up fast had everything to do with your legs. I'd be interested in what you do for you legs as well Vers. ophqui 06-11-2007, 09:32 AM no, ducking/slipping depends on leg power (making strong contractions quickly) not strength (making the strongest contractions possible). Speed and power are more important for the legs in terms of effective head movement and punching. Strength in the legs is useful for pushing people around in the clinch orstopping urself from getting pushed back. Best things to do are plyometrics and SAQ (speed agility and quickness) training for what ur talking about and high weight, low rep squats and leg presses for strength Verstyle 06-11-2007, 03:28 PM yeh vers i seen your videos n **** to n ur style looks like tysons..wut exercises would u reccomend doin? If I were you I would do squats,or just always deep down and squat when punching. Keep a low stance crouch. But always practice doing it with the bag, never have your legs straight. Thats enough exercise right there. But my legs were already naturally big threw my mom. So I sorta cheated but not cheated.
