Animal Squabbs 06-09-2007, 10:14 PM I currently use Twins gloves for sparring, but I dont think they are the best. IM sure Grants or Winning are the best. Hitman932 06-09-2007, 11:05 PM i got these grants for 32 bucks delivered, they are awesome http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150124627091&rd=1&rd=1 Evil_Meat 06-10-2007, 11:41 AM yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i get a pair of 16oz Cleto Reyes lace up sparring gloves2morro for only £50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D!!!! WHOOP! those aern't very good sparring gloves unless u like the fact that they cut easily and are very solid and damaging. If u don't hit hard to begin with then these might help out a little mickeyb 06-10-2007, 01:40 PM those aern't very good sparring gloves unless u like the fact that they cut easily and are very solid and damaging. If u don't hit hard to begin with then these might help out a little Don't worry they are extremely well padded and i assure you - they are just as unlikely to cut anyone, as any other glove. I've always wanted a pair of Cleto Reyes, and now i got them today. They are safe to spar an opponent with... don't worry, i am very aware of them being punchers gloves. The padding is quite excessive in places - Infact they are huge. They aren't like the fighting gloves - i've used them also and they are nothing alike. esponda 06-11-2007, 12:56 AM cleto reyes are the best , and theyre relatively cheap, here in mexico are around 100 dollars for the 16 oz , I prefer them from a grant or another brand... by the way, theyre easy to find in the us? I like my Grants better as sparing gloves. mickeyb 06-11-2007, 06:39 AM cleto reyes are the best , and theyre relatively cheap, here in mexico are around 100 dollars for the 16 oz , I prefer them from a grant or another brand... by the way, theyre easy to find in the us? i think there the best you can buy - like the rolls royce of gloves. I'm not from the U.S, i'm from England and they are certainly not cheap and are not easy to find. Luckily the internet nowadays has a lot of sites which can order. My gloves were ordered from America and delivered to the store i bought them from. As for cutting off circulation - it hasn't been a problem yet - then again, i have quite small hands. I sparred great in them the other day, and really enjoyed wearing them. Perhaps wearing the reyes had a psychological effect! acted as a boxing placebo perhaps!. vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
