Can You guys ease up on the POP UPS

When I came to the main page today..My pop up blocker ..Blocked 5 and 5 more somehow beat it...
Its pretty ****ing annoying having to close 5 windows one after another before I can even do anything.. That's my 45 seconds..NOT yours..

Is this a BOXING site.. or a SPAMMERS paradise????

The pop ups piss me off aswell. I get the same 3 every single time i come to the site. Annoying as FOOK

my pop up blocker rocks and i only get 1 every single time. still annoying as shit.

if you have have Firefox, i strongly recommend you get the Adblock add on.

Impossible, it's only set for three.

The only pop up that is annoying is the new search pop up.

nah he's right, I average about 3 but its not unlikely for me to get up to 5...

Oh and as far as pop ups go...I suppose you can chalk it up to a necessary evil...

I'm gunna play devil's advocate here and defend the pop ups...Considering Registration to BoxingScene is free yet the server the site runs off of costs money, the server fee has to pay.... The money for the server isn't coming from dues collected for registration....The way most sites make money is by selling advertisements to companies...So the popups, the banners a the bottom of the page, etc are whats keeping BoxingScene up and running...

Then again I could be wrong....

How many guys think a website can run without money generating somewhere? A raise of hands please.When this happens please tell me,but until then I will enjoy a free boxing site unlike boxing talk.

I don't mind pop ups cuz most of them are stooped in the blocker but the full page adds in the lounge are a MOFO.

There are popups everywhere,your not forced to come on this site,you chose to come to this site. Plus complaining wont really get you anywhere,unless you wanna start doing a bs donation then I bet it would get took off. And I never get popups when coming here.:confused:
