Javier asked me to speak to you all.
He went to a sports doctor today. His acl is completely torn, and it is likely he has sustained some damage to the lateral colateral also, they are going to operate on Monday, they are doing some MRI's to access the damage to the lateral colateral, which is why they won't operate sooner.

The doctor says Javier will be back ready to fight in five to six months. Javier is anxiously awaiting his chance to come back and push the competition to the limit.

He also sends his heart felt thanks to you all who have been so vocal in support of him. I had my wife read him the thread Saturday night right after the fight, and it was one of the things that made him feel a little bit better. You have really helped him to deal with this, and desire to comeback for all of you.

and he said, "if you like what I did with one leg, wait to you see me with both, I will be back better than ever!"

thanks guys,

the rev

He kicked during his fight on saturday and you could actually see his knee buckled as he was kicking and he fell. He continued to fight when he was obviously injured, and lost a split decision.

I guess his debut in the UFC is on hold now.

Man, I can't tell you guys how surprised I was when I read this result. I really thought that with the move to the UFC, Javier was gonna make a run for UFC Gold. I hope his injury heals well, and I can't wait to see him back in the cage. Good luck Javier!
