ok guys I havent ran since last Tuesday. problem is I used to be overweight since the age of 9 and now im finally back to a normal/good shape and I love it!:banana: :banana: But i feel very very guilty when i skip a roadwork run. I also feel terrible after having something im not suppose to have like bad food such as cake,junk food,a pop. I dont have bad food often maybee once a week ill have a Pepsi and a slice of cake or ever 2 weeks. When the weekdays are here though from Monday till the weekend I have a almost perfect diet. I run 3-4 times a week, whenever I skip a run I feel terrible and fat(yes i know its weird). But today I came home late and I usually run at night and my mom refused to let me leave and run, not to mention I havent ran in 6 days due to this now I cant run till tomorrow which counts as a full week. anyway I just feel guilty and pist off right now. Can anyone relate to this feeling? BTW I weigh 158 and im 5"7 1/2 tall.

I know how you feel.
I normally run every day, but I haven't run since last Wednesday.
I could feel a cold coming on and also had a couple of late nights last week and I had trouble getting up early. I am about to head off to the gym for a workout and some sparring so thats something. I am going to run tomorrow.
Don't feel to bad, it's good for your body to take a break now and then.

like DMC said its good to take a break now and then, you could knacker yourself if you try and stay in amazing shape all the time. I know what you mean though cos I don't train weekends and I always feel guilty by the time monday comes around, like I have to make up for it!

I dont see a problem with anything you do. Your body could use some time to relax from the constant pounding of running.
And its always good to throw in a cheat day every now and then, as long as you dont gourge yourself, and it doesnt look like you are.

I've been really working out a lot for the past three or four weeks. I was running and getting good workouts but I was taking one day off a week and it killed me. I would eat badly and everything. Use a motivation to stay in shape. I ran 3 miles yesterday and I'm going to lift today I'm doing situps and pushups every night. Just remember the feeling after a good workout is just as good or better than the feeling you get from eating junk food.

I was a fat guy and I have lost allot of weight in the last 4 months, believe me a day now and then are not going to see you back being overweight again.
Just stick to what you have been doing and think of the slack days as a reward for the hard work you have put in.
Don't forget all the weight you had took years to build up, a couple of days isn't going to bring it back
