Valerie is doing very well. 36 hours of labor later. Sofia is very cute not wrinkley at all. She had an epideral so wasnt much pain (in comparison to what it could have been). Mama and baby should be home tomorrow. I will let her know to read what everyone has said as soon as she can.

Well, I just got home from the hospital, gave the little leech what she always seems to want...some titty!!! (She can suck for days! She must be related to you guys ;) ) She fell asleep and then promptly spit up all over the nice clean blankets we'd laid out. Go figure! Then, Beorn made me some lunch and since we STILL don't have a dining room table, I always eat at the computer. So here I am! Amazed at the length of this thread! THANKS EVERYONE!!! :lovers:

Yeah, the labor wasn't too painful after I got the meds. If not for the drugs I surely would've died from the pain. Then it just seemed to take forever! And with an epidural, you can't walk or anything, so you're forced to just sit there. I couldn't wait for pushing time to come. And I must say that I did alright pushing. That only took an hour or so and didn't seem too bad compared to the rest of it. I just wanted it to be over with.
Wilhelm and his wife Sigilund came to see me. Sigilund and Beorn were my coaches!!! They helped me push! LOL, Wilhelm and my Dad couldn't take it. They had to wait outside :)

And she's beautiful!!!!!!:baby: Really, she's a cutie! I watched a lot of those birthing shows on TV, so I was expecting a purple wrinkley, hairy thing. But she's a doll with blonde hair and blue eyes and rosey cheeks.

OK, since my nether regions are still a little sore, I'm gonna have to spend less time on this hard computer chair. I'll talk to everyone later~~

Yup, Sofia Gabrielle decided to make her appearance before she needed to be induced (stubborn little thing already, isn't she

Anyway, we're at home now. Gonna go out with her on my own for the first time today for her doctor's appt.
