The wolves have ruined the atmosphere IMO with their crappy songs. We used to just have simply the best after a goal, which I quite liked (back in the mid 90s).

Yeah I am, I saw the 2nd leg of the playoffs and you were unlucky. We certainly outplayed them in the playoffs, all they do is hoof it up to Howard, they do defend well though. Im sure they'll come back down next season though.

I remember Mowbray, after we'd beaten you (fair and sqaure), claiming that we were lucky. That you were the better team in the game. That you were the better team in general. That you'd win more games, that you'd score more goals and that you'd get more points.

We totally outplayed them in the first leg too. They were just more efficient than us. Only time we've been able to score with most of our shots was when we beat Wolves 6-0. We're just wasteful.

Yeah I remember him saying that and if Tony looks back now i'm sure he regrets saying it too. If I remember correctly the ref was a joke that day and Tony was annoyed with the ref more than anything. Fair play to Sunderland though, without doubt the best team we played this season.
