After rewatching it on Friday I have come to the conclusion it is the greatest movie ever made in the history of the universe.

How Dumb and Dumber missed out at the Academy awards is beyond me...

Jeff Daniels toilet scene for one is sheer brilliance.

It is Jim Carrey at his finest...a level rarely touched in his subsequent outings

Nothing of today compares to The Search for the Holy Grail. Still the best there is.

"Lloyd! That was pure genius! Where'd you get that idea?"
"It was from a movie!"
"Really? So they got away with it scot free?"
"No! They caught up with the guy a half mile down the road and slit his throat!! IT WAS A GOOD ONE."

Since the heady days of D+D...Carrey has done films like The Cable Guy (which I liked despite popular opinion), Me,Myself and Irene (which is good just for him calling Rene Zellweger Candy Pants), and The Majestic (why, oh why)...

The decline is almost hard to watch

All good movies Curly...however the Doors movie should be removed purely for the inaccuracy of it.

After reading JOhn Densmores autobiography, Manzareks and "No-one here gets out alive" I am well qualified to make this judgement!

yes, I am a long time Doors fan...thanks Dad

Hell yes. I haven't seen that movie since I was about 15, but I remember laughing pretty ****in hard then. It might be about time to see if it's on DVD, and if so, buy it.
