View Full Version : If you had a time machine, would you want to travel to the past or the future?
Bella 02-22-2003, 12:58 AM Seems like there may have been a thread like this before, but I don't really give two shakes of a hippos ass.
Which would it be? Past? Future?
I'd definately want to travel back to the past. I want to meet Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday. ;)
Fallout 02-22-2003, 01:00 AM I'd travel to the past, to relive my highschool days and not blow the chance I had with the hottest girl ever
Magic Man 02-22-2003, 01:01 AM hell yeah, I'd go back with current information and buy up stocks with rock bottom prices then come back to the future and be a rich ****a and don't ever have to work and quit uni.
seldomTap 02-22-2003, 01:01 AM I would be like Marty McFly and go forward...get a book of sports results for the last 100 years, then bet on everything possible and make millions. Quit my job and live the life!
Although, I would like to meet Cleopatra...
Magic Man 02-22-2003, 01:07 AM would you save her from the evil camel that bit her titty?
seldomTap 02-22-2003, 01:08 AM Hell no...any drastic action like that could change the course of history forever...I don't want to be responsible for the consequences
Magic Man 02-22-2003, 01:10 AM but just you having an affair with her might change the course of civilisation. Julia Cesar will get pissed off and come and destroy australia.
seldomTap 02-22-2003, 01:14 AM No he won't...the world was flat in those days and Australia wasn't even known...he may destroy parts of France...big deal
Magic Man 02-22-2003, 01:16 AM well then, acthung.
seldomTap 02-22-2003, 01:18 AM ACHTUNG..SCHNELL, SCHNELL
Magic Man 02-22-2003, 01:19 AM no no, I mean "Act Hung"
seldomTap 02-22-2003, 01:19 AM Aint no act!
ruffneck119 02-22-2003, 04:21 AM The future so I could bring back new technology.
realkaps 02-22-2003, 04:26 AM Id go to the future and get the lottory numbers then come back to present day and win the lotto......
Kimura 02-22-2003, 09:52 AM Well into the future, where Bush is the laughing stock of American history.

That might actually improve the planet. I say go for it
JasonLeonardOBE 02-22-2003, 11:59 AM The past.
I would assume if you went really far into the future one would not have the adequate tools to properly interpret what one would see. Would be fun but ultimately a waste of time.:lol3:
It would be kinda funny to go to some big battle in the past and tip off the loser on what he is gonna do wrong like tell gen. Lee not to charge the wall at Gettysburg(doh) or tell the Mongols that they really might not want to spend the night on their ships in typhoon season off the coast of Japan.:noangel:
And so on...
LukeDothSucketh 02-22-2003, 12:03 PM If I was even seen in the past it would change people's train of thought, which would lead to a lot of changes from what we see today. I'd just go into the future far enough so I could get me a robot bride.
