above its water fountain?

DALLAS -- Dallas County commissioners and citizens Tuesday debated passionately about a 'Whites Only' sign within a county-owned building that remained untouched for decades. The sign, a relic from the era of segregation, was engrained in marble above a water fountain on the records floor until just last week, when officials covered it with a metal sheet.

However, many are pushing to have the sign removed from the building altogether. According to Price, an African-American, the sign was simply a reminder of the past that didn't keep African Americans from using the fountain. And now that the marble etching is covered, he said there's no reason for complete removal...

True, it is. America isn't the only country with a poor racist past though it would seem. White people everywhere have genocided millions of native people in the name of 'settlement' or 'discovery'...I didn't know that discovery meant -to slay an entire race to near extinction, then ostracize and ridicule those that are left.

Blacks in America were originally slaves which is even worse...the Natives just got stolen from

That would offend me if I was Black, seeing as it offends me and I'm white. Take it down.

Aussie white settlers did worse to the Aborigines than the American whites ever did to the Native Americans and Blacks combined.
