Yup... GhosT^x0 = hypoglycemic.

But as a result, it's encouraged me to eat healthier, which in turn is making me stronger & more able-bodied. I cannot stress the importance of a solid diet... I never realized the importance of fueling your body with the essentials until they weren't there, and suddenly my body was doing things that were beyond even my control. I've never felt so helpess before.

When my insulin levels jump, I start to get really weird... almost shakey, but not... I feel like an air bubble shoots up from my heart to my head, and I get really tingly in the back of my neck and head... almost like I'm losing circulation. I've passed out from it before, but as my doctor put it, that's my body reacting to the drop / increase in my body's insulin levels. I have to keep those regulated now that my body reacts based on them. I think I did this to myself based on not eating regularly enough, and getting all caught up in cutting weight to stay within reach of my division... I was 240 lbs this time last year. Can you believe that? I'm sitting right beneath 200 lbs now.

I get my Fairtex gear today. This makes me happy. :lol2: :lol1: :lol3:

Is there a relationship between hypoglycemia and diabetes?

There is no direct relationship between diabetes and hypoglycemia, but diabetics often get hypogycemic during exercise and long bouts in between meals.

My friend is hypoglycemic I believe. He's my buddy from work and every time before he starts his shift he does some **** with a little blood test. He is a skinny guy too, but he gained about 30 pounds in a month once he started taking the medication, so he had to join a gym. He feels a lot better now that he knows what's wrong with him. It really sucks but you;re right that it does make you appreciate a healthy diet and lifestyle much more. Good luck.

Thats a ***** Dave...but is very manageable. Eat well and regular, keep your self on as much a even keel insulin wise as possible and you will be ok.

Does it count if you jump up and down, scream a lot and throw **** at people when you start getting hungry? If so, I might be hypoglycaemic too....
