Although Simpsons now gets smacked around by Family guy. The Simpsons was best in the early 90's when they had real stories and real morals. The comedy was a little more subtle and didn't detract from the main plot. Now however the Simpsons just moves from one slapstick joke to another, no real stories or feeling anymore. It jumped the shark in the late 90's and the loss of Phil Hartman was the final nail in the coffin. Welter_Skelter 05-25-2007, 11:22 AM THE SIMPSONS by a mile... Family Guy is good.. U think the jokes get in the way of the storyline? Its a ****in cartoon! I havent watched any 'new' Simpons in ages. But can watch the old episodes over and over again. Family Guy is great.
