Luckily most of the masts etc are in storage.

Still whoever set it alight should now be burnt at the stake! Pricks!

Yeah But they said they can restore it, but it's gonna cost. Which isn't too bad, becuase this is one of our greatest ships.

Its the history of the ship, not what its made out of.

I'm not sure how they can restore it from those pictures. Maybe it looks worse than what it is.

It went from England to Australia in 67 days, unheard for a ship driven by wind. Plus it went 360 Nautical miles in 24 hours.

not sure i think it was a tea ship so not sure what the link would be, on the news it said that 50% of the ship is in storage so it looks like the thing can be fixed but it will take years. i have only ever been on it once about 10 years ago. dont know why any one would set it on fire

It was all boarded off because it began reconstructions in 2006 so they took 60% of the ship and loaded it into warehouses. The only thing that was damaged was the actual frame of it which people are saying will be easy to restore. Basically all the main things on it are saved...stroke of good luck.

Only a couple of days ago mate. I guess we took people's good nature for granted, and never invested in security for the ship. Whoever the **** did it needs a nice big kick up the arse, a fine and some time, for their crime.
