I know this topic has more than likely been discussed in the past but I must say that after watching the fight again tonite for the second time, I had Meehan winning 114-112. Those two judges must have been bribed by King to give that final round to Brewster. I always wondered what credentials are needed to become a boxing judge, because I would like to fill out an application :p . That's why King is the devil in my opinion. I also thought that the 8th round should have been scored 10-8 for Meehan. That is how I scored it.

If you watch the highlights of Wlad vs Brewster take a look in the background and you will see King stand up and start cheering the moment Brewster starts making his comeback in the 5th round. To me that is a bit fishy because as many times as I have watched a don king promoted fight I have never seen king get up and cheer along with the fans.

i may be a fan of the Klits, but I know that in the many, many fights i have seen, I have never seen anything like that. I also saw Wlad throw as many if not more against Ray Mercer, Ive said it before, ill say it again: Don King needs a nice, strong heart attack. :)

Actually I prefer someone to assassinate him just like they assassinated Notorious BIG and Tupac. It would give me more pleasure.

Leave Don King alone. Bob Arum, Kushner and DiBella have had many of their fighters get fishy decisions. So has Universum. King is no worse than the rest. he's just more popular therfore all the bad decisions in boxing get blamed on him even if he's not the lead promoter.

I had Meehan-Brewster a draw. However, if I had to pick a winner it would be Meehan. the rounds he won, he won them bigger and inflicted more damage. 9 times out of 10, the fight would've been stopped in the 8th by the referee. Brewster was taking a beating. Lucky for him Meehan can't punch. The fact that Wlad got put on the canvas by this guy is a joke. he should be so ashamed he should quit. BUt I guess if losing the same way to Ross Purrity didn't make him quit, nothing will. He has no shame

Yes there have been questionable decisions by judges with fights that have been promoted by the aforementioned promoters, but not as many as King and at least these other promoters look to set their boxers up for fights against worthy opposition, unlike King who in order to fight one of his boxers, you need to give up your first born and your life.

Trinidad-De la Hoya was promoted by Arum; Mosley-Hoya II was promoted by Arum; Adams-Ayala I was promoted by Arum; Ayala-Dianzo was promoted by Arum; Manfredy-Diaz was promoted by Arum; Hoya-Whitaker was promoted by Arum; Hoya-Quartey was promoted by Arum; Morales-Barrera I & II were promoted by Arum; Morales-Chi was promoted by Arum; Morales-Espadas was promoted by Arum. I can go on.

In every one of thse fights Arum was either the sole promoter or the lead promoter.

King has not had half as many questionable decisions as Arum the past 10 years

Also, if you're a grown man who can think for himself, and someone tells you of the $10,000 you're going to make you must give him $8,000 and sign away your future and you do it, you're not being conned or robbed. You're being a fool. that's not being wronged. Bad business decisions on a fighter's part is his fault. It's business. Don King is not much different than any other business man who will rake you over the coals if you let him. As long as he doesn't break any laws (and he hasn't becuase the federal government has never gotten him) what he does is fine with me.
