Something green because you will be lacking fiber in your diet.

aight.. thanx
potatoes 05-17-2007, 01:10 PM Your body is really just a bio-chemical machine. If you put too much oil in a machine, do you think it will run better? Put yourself on a strict schedule and eat natural, healthy foods. A disciplined lifestyle will get you just as healthy as any of these modern fads and will cost you a lot less money.
DA1CATAS 05-17-2007, 01:23 PM Diet won't be such a bad word if you Train hard enough... I run for an hour in the morning and it burns close to 1400 calories (the treadmil) I do that about 2 times the week.. (even more when the summer starts and im off work) Usually I run for about 30 mins and burn 600-700 calories...... this is all before training mind you... I eat breakfast, usually my lightest meal of the day.... eat lunch...which might be a footlong sub and chips wit water...(like today).. and sometimes accompanied by milk and 3 cookies like today also...
I am albe to do that because i started the day off losing 1400 calories...
If you don't want to train as hard then get on one of these killer diets and punish yourself with it.
But if you don't want to worry to much about it then train harder... believe me its much easier to train and lose weight eating what you want... instead of worrying about what you can't...
plus more training is more stamina and so on..

so you jus eat whatever you want throughout the day, training and not training? are you trying to lose weight or r u jus maintaining? i dont think someone losing weight can jus work real real hard and eat anything they want they still need to look at calories and such dont u think? by the way man, is that u in ur avatar or is that 50? my monitor sucks and its blurry so i cant tell, lol...

lol thats me...
And no i dont eat what i want.. i still watch it a lil.. but if i see a milkshake and i want it.. Imma drink a milkshake.. and yea im still losing weight...
I dont eat crazy everyday of course you gotta look at what you eat... i just dont go around saying.. **** i cant eat this.. man i cant eat that.. **** i cant have this today...
and actually i think how much energy you burn can definately allow you to eat just as freely... might not work for everyone but i've been ok with it.
MAXIMO99 05-17-2007, 01:46 PM just drink atleast a gallon of water a day. if your tryin to loose wieght i would have about 5 to 6 small meals a day... foods full of protien, and low on sugar and carbs and all that bull crap... try to eat healthy and every 3 hours.. make sure they are small meals though... like chicken salad, or a nice wheat bread sandwhich..etc....and what ever your body wieght is i would consume that many grams of protein....

Put in some oatmeal for breakfast with sweet and lo instead of sugar. You can throw in some chicken breasts and turkey as well, both quite lean. I would try running first thing in the morning as a boost to your metabolism throughout the day. I have had alot of success in that. As far as the carbs go you can eat them a little but dont eat them after 2-3 in the afternoon and especially before bed. Canned corn is hi in sodium which will cause some water retention. I recommend green veges like brocolli and stuff for some fiber. Drink lots of water and lay off the booze. As far as the running goes due intervals. Jog for a bit than burst for 30 seconds jog for a couple minutes than burst again, great way to burn fat. You should also lift some weights and continue to build muscle as calories are burned in the muscles and the more muscle you have the more calories burned. Snowball effect. Best of luck and keep me posted

no carbs after 2 or 3 in the afternoon? why? if hes workin out hard and eating strict he should be able to eat carbs at anytime of the day, shouldnt he?
danny stash 05-17-2007, 04:01 PM yes but he is trying to get a 6 pack. By cutting your carbs later in the day your body burns its reserves for fuel not the carbs you put in it. Thats the whole theory behind the atkins diet.
