...running your club?

Apparently the ex thai prime minister who was interested in Liverpool a while back had a VIP tour around the city of Manchester stadium yesterday and some kind of announcement could be made in the next 48 hours.

He's worth around 2 billion and he wants to bring in a foreign manager and give em a big transfer kitty.

What is your opinion on all this Lad?

Not sure mate.

To be truthful, I just want to City moving forward, I'm not sure about this Thai geezer though (Micky might know more) but I wonder why Liverpool didn't want him?

I suppose if he brings money to the club then we at last may become the big club we always say we are:bs2:

Gutted about Pearce though, I thought he would do the job for us! Also I dont like what I'm hearing about Sven GE coming to us:nonono:

Yeah there was something about Liverpool suspecting his motives and funding but Micky will probably be able to tell us about that. Sounds a bit fishy though.

In the Guardian today it says Sven has already been discounted, which, if true, has gotta be good news. The names being bandied about are Houllier, Ranieri and Koeman.

Here's a link to the article if you wanna see what it says mate:

Cheers mate.

Houllier would be great manager for us, I know he had a rough do at Liverpool but he won a **** load of trophies for them and has done so for Lyon as well!

I've never really liked the cunt, in part because of the way he ****ed Robbie Fowler over, but no doubt he's done well at Lyon.

The Thai PM wanted full control of the club (Like Gillett and Hicks) but was not prepared to divulge his long term intent with the club or keep important board members around.

Houllier was a good manager for Liverpool but he ran out of idea's, he never got on with Fowler for some reason (perhaps the fake coke snorting incident didn't help) but has done a great job at Lyon, dont forget he won 5 major trophies at Liverpool in 6 years so he did OK!

He was a right cunt towards Fowler though wasnt he Micky. Fowler said he drove him out of the club, and that he started a campaign in the press against him. That if Houllier felt any journalist gave Fowler too high a mark in the match report then Houllier would have a go at the journalist for it.

Yeah, not sure why, Fowler was untouchable when Houllier arrived, maybe that was the problem?

Also Houllier loved Mr Perfect in Michael Owen so.....

I think at the time Houllier was courting the ''serious press'' and Fowlers antics (the coke sniffing and Le Saux incidents) were making him look like a twat. It was about Houllier's ego if you ask me.

Fowler was never the same after his ACL injury, when he came to us he was a bit podgy as well, but......he was some player!
