HOOKnSHOOT BOOT CAMP 1.1
March 8th, 2003
Memorial Coliseum, Evansville, IN.

HOOKnSHOOT announces BOOT CAMP 1.1. 'Headling the card in Evansville, Indiana is Aaron Riley who returns to his roots to fight for the HOOKnSHOOT World Title!' starts promoter Jeff Osborne.

'This may be Riley's last fight in Evansville, as HOOKnSHOOT grows and the Evansville shows turn to featuring the up and comers. It is fitting that Riley fight for the 170 lb title, which is vacant. His opponent is Indianapolis's Chris Lytle who is ranked #4 by Pancrase and is one of the top fighters the midwest has produced. Lytle has some great performances in HnS, and neither fighter has ever been submitted or KO'd in a fight. Indiana has wanted to see this fight a long time! With the HnS belt in the line an with both fighters establishing themselves in the sport in the past 2 years, the match is more meaningful tan ever!' describes matchmaker Miguel Iturrate.

Also on the card is 155 lb champion Phil Johns, as he returns to defend his title against BJJ stud Edson Diniz. Johns returns from knee surgery and a long rehab period looking to retain his belt yet again, while Diniz looks to add HOOKnSHOOT gold to his trophy case.

The rest of the card is packed with 2 round matches that feature a blend of returning HnS veterans and many new faces. 'This is the start of the BOOT CAMP's, where we want to look at guys and develop fighters. The undercard is sure to produce highlights, as there are a lot of guys who we have wanted to see for a long time. We are working with familiar schools - Dave Strasser has students, Phil Johns, Steve Berger, Anthony Hamlet - all these guys have referred fighters. We are looking forward to the first edition of BOOT CAMP' concludes Osborne.
