Its situations like this where bulimia really comes in handy.

I actually do remember being at a birthday party once in highschool where a friend of mine ate some cake and then threw it up because he had to make weight for a wrestling match. I personally love cake too but I don't think I'd take it that far...

On a more practical note, once you start making excuses and letting your discipline slide a little it gets harder to turn that back on. Your best bet is probably to just pass on it. Better yet, sit in front of the cake and stare at it... think about how delicious it looks and get mad that you can't eat the cake... then channel that rage into your training so you can smash that mothe******* for denying you the icecreamy goodness.

Do you need to make weight? It's not going to kill you as long as you arent eating too much of it, unless you need to make weight. In that case avoid it.

well however many calories you ingest from eating it make sure you work extra hard to burn them

It's ok to cheat on your diet once in a while. Obviously, the closer you get to your fight, the less you will want to cheat. But at this point, a little more than 2 monthes out, it won't kill you. Have a piece of cake, eat a scoop of ice cream. Maybe go for a longer run tomorrow to make up for it. Like Antonio said, you should definitely avoid it if you struggle to make weight or if you have a lot of weight to cut. But otherwise, enjoy.

throw the cake away, it's just a giant piece of sugar. if that ****ing thing was sitting in my fridge, i'd probably end up eating it all and having to burn off the extra 4 pounds in roadwork. i can't have stuff like that around, it's too much temptation

eat the whole ****in cake in one day. If you eat a little today, then theres still gonna be some left and you are gonna give in easier and do it again and it will hurt you worse than if you just eat it all in one day and feel like a slob and think i never want to hear about cake again. :boxing:
