View Full Version : i see people
DOGGx0 02-11-2003, 09:55 PM i see people... more and more everyday signing up, but none posting.. also more traffic here than .com. with that in mind, i am wondering if people hear about the forums more than our .com portion wich means more than this board. so i am pondering...
should we direct www.globalmma.net to www.globalmma.com so people can see what we are all about and then can feel free to register on our forums and post.
if all they heard about was the forums, then they will post here... its just letting them know where we are comming from. i mean we can always switch it back later when we get more established.
i ask all of you, cause its all of you that are constantly here, helping us improve. its your site too, so holla and let us know what you think:cool:

I think it's a good idea. You start at dot.com, and either browse or click on forums. This is a mma website and it's only one extra mouseclick if you don't wanna check out .com. Also, things like the Jonathan Ivey interview need headlines on the .com page. The only way your gonna find it is by clicking on interviews. Ivey is fighting for the super heavyweight championship in KOTC in 10 days and the interview is not even mentioned on the .com home page. Also, time for a new poll!
handjobs4dollars 02-11-2003, 10:02 PM Give me my free t-shirt and I'll pimp for you. I was telling a guy about the site today when training.
handjobs4dollars 02-11-2003, 10:03 PM We need to get the mutlimedia up too.

In the mean time, help us out in other areas.

Napol 02-11-2003, 11:27 PM i think u should make people go through .com to get here. the forums is not what this site is about. its about mma. so i think it is a good idea. it would help people see more of what is going on in the sport.:fu:

wondermut 02-12-2003, 01:08 AM ill do it tomorrow
VulgarTheClown 02-12-2003, 02:48 AM I don;t exactly get what your saying
Curly Howard 02-12-2003, 03:00 AM They may just be doing like I did. Browsing around and check things out. The new traffic in the MMA forum will help. Posting threads there like the "who's your favorite fighter" helps also.
Most of the post we put over there are upcoming events and fighter interview. Not much to give an opinion about.
I subscribe to other non MMA forums and you'll see people
with less than 10 posts in 6 months.A lot of them just read the info they want and leave.
Leather 02-12-2003, 08:20 AM I'm trying to show to my g/f some MMA videos, I think if she stars in the forum, she'll finish loving MMA....
