Curly Howard

I like Serra and Pulver and most Lightweight fighters
but the one guy of all time that I used to love to watch was Royce. I always used to think "well he ain't going to get out of this" then he would pop off an arm bar or something.
It still amazes me how a guy could have 3 or 4 fights a night against bigger fighters and still win.

Mezger beat Saku(in my mind), came close to if not beating Arona, had a good fight with Liddell and even rocked him, beat Tito. I'd say he's done very well vs top fighters. I also don't think he's boring.

100% Agreed! He beat Arona, I think that was a **** decision. Rocked Liddel, was beating Wanderlei 'til he got rocked. I think if he trained somewhere besides the Lion's Den he'd be a better fighter for it. He aint the best, but he's a damn good fighter.

Come on the lions den is dieing they need some thing new in there to get things going. Get a bjj-expert. Get a world champion of mauy-thai in there. Just get some new blood.

That's what I was saying G. Mezger would be better off training somewhere else. Go to Holland and train Thai Boxing or with Bas in Cali.

I would say Mezger is a top fighter with stand up, He has had a couple bad decisions and a couple brutal K.O.'s that follow him around but he is definetly top ten in the stand up game
