I like FN2 due to gameplay plus the looks (as in tassels and fringed trunks)

Only thing i think that is better on the ps2 fight nite 2 is the extra boxers (even that has some legends missing). But the graphics and sound on a good HDTV makes it more atmospheric and in the seat feel on the 360.

FN2 is just a slugfest. You can rip haymakers off at will. fn3 is more balances and has more strategy. i just hope they improve in the next installment.

True enough, but with FNR3 the Haymakers are so slow its rediculous...are you gunna tell me Joe Frazier would take that long to throw a hard hook...The new Haymaker system seriously makes the game feel very slow paced....Unless your Ali and then its just stupid how they made his character...He was fast but he wasn't miles ahead of everyone else...

my created boxer went underfeated with 51 victories UNDERFEATED and 44 by a way of KO. i defended the light-heavy/heavyweight titles 10 times. i retired him at the age of 44.

im starting taylor's career soon.

Lol i used to do that trick with my first charter. But once i started a new career ive not lost in 30 fights so far.
But once you beat the burger king sponsored fight thou u'll unlock his trainer which cost nothing to use and can give you up to +7 heart. If you create a new fighter again u can use this trainer in the amatures and befor you know it u'll have 100 heart and make things easyer the second time round.

You capitolize your writing like it's an achievment, hard on FNR3 is the easiest thing ever, I got to like 70-0 with 70 KO's, it really is too easy.

Its hard to duplicate the action of the ring without losing some things. I just wish they would incorporate variation. I mean Frazier wasnt as fast as Ali. Floyd and Hopkins do not have similar speed. In Fn2 and Fn3 all guys have the same punch speed and foot speed.

r3 better, more realistic

round 2 is better gameplay wise, if u dont wanna abuse the haymakers in it. Fn round 3 puts more in terms of using the jab but like others said the haymakers are slow as ****. Get round 2 and rent 3 to see the diffrence in speed, cause round 2 is a hell of a lot more fun than round 3.

yea i see that 2
ali was fast but not that fast. I think if the haymakers were a bit faster and they added new boxers in the next game. 1 thing that got me was why wasnt mayweather in r3? they left out other legends as well such as, Tommy Hearns,Joe Louis etc...
i hope 2 see Round 4 the best one yet.

I rented teh PS3 version. I created boxer and bought Ali's haymaker. It's pathetic looking. I rarely use it coz it's so effeminite.

Some boxers are definately missing from all the games, especially considering the fact is for a worldwide market. Plus I think some names are missing in comparison to some of the ****ty boxers who are in there.

what i'm trying to say is...

Who the **** wants to play as Calvin Brock!?!? - and where is Mike Tyson? ... Calvin Brock can get onto the game but Joe Calzaghe can't!?! Just who is on the worldwide P4P rankings here...?

As for international, hows about more than one European boxer. Wheres Lennox Lewis, Prince Naseem Hamed?

The game should have the capacity to add more boxers than they already have. The amount of fighters presented is woeful.

I wish they could do something like if you're connected to live you can download extra boxers, rings, and equipment.

the 360 version doesn't even have white everlast gloves :grumble:

I'm forced to wear the rising sun gloves now :grumble: x 2

Neither Victorious Boxer 2 : Fighting Spirit (Hajime no Ippo) kicks the **** out Fight Nights very slow and painfully unboxing like gameplay.

you know... i think the boxing game i most enjoyed playing on was definately Knockout Kings on the playstation.

Nothing compares... despite the better graphics of FN2 and 3...

oh well.
