How Do U Think They Will This Year. I Think If They Click They Will Make The Second Round. Hard To Tell, Kobe Has To Realize He Is A Ball Hog.

I'm a knicks fan. :o

I think the Lakers are in trouble this year.

I liked them a lot more when they had Magic and James Worthy.

**** the Lakers

Seriously they wont make the playoffs. The West was already stacked and almost every team has gotten better. The Lakers have no point and no one to play up from against the big men out West.

Phoenix added Steve Nash and Quentin Richardson.
Utah added Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer.
Denver added Kenyon Martin
Houston added Tracy McGrady
Dallas added Erick Dampier

Dont expect The Kings to have the injuries they had last year.

Everyone has gotten better and The Lakers have only gotten worse.

EVERY TEAM THAT HAS GOTTEN NEW PLAYERS MAYBE MAKES THEM BETTER ON PAPER. THE LAKERS GOT A LOT OF TALENT FOR SHAQ WHICH IS OUT OF THE WEST NOW. THEY R DEEPER THAN THEYVE BEEN IN A WHILE EVEN ON THOSE 3 CHAPIONSHIP RUNS. THEY HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF MAKING THE PLAYOFFS REGARDLESS. THE WEST IS UP FOR GRABS NOW WITH SHAQ OUT OF THE PICTURE. LOL I SHOULD OF POSTED "ANY LAKERS HATERS?"

I FIND IT VERY UNLIKELY, TOO MANY FACTORS FOR THE LAKERS LAST SEASON. I THINK SPURS TAKE THIS YEAR.

They didn't get anything for Shaq.

Lamar Odom has had one decent year in the pro's. He has been a disapointment from day #1. I do like Butler, but he plays the same position as Kobe.

they still have no one up front and no bench

The west ain't up for grabs. It's the T-Wolves or Spurs conference to take. The Kings are too inconsistent and Peja is unhappy...T-Mac and Yao can't get it done by themselves (no disrespect to my boy Juwan Howard), the Mavs are garbage outside of Dirk and Finley, talent alone won't win the Suns anything, same goes for the lake-show. Utah got better but they are running with a bunch of "nice" players...no stars or go-to-guys. The Nuggies are nice and I like Andre Miller but they can't touch the Spurs or the T-Wolves. Same goes for the Grizz.

I don't know why I posted all of this because the Pistons are going to run **** this year. :D

MIHM LOOKED PRETTY GOOD (HAD 6 BLOCKS)EVEN PRESEASON THATS PRETTY GOOD,DIVAC WILL BE A GOOD LEADER. RUSH, BUTLER, WALTON,SLAVA,GEORGE MAKE A PRETTY GOOD BENCH BETTER THAN MOST ATLEAST.

We had the first 5 game sweep ever...there's no way the lakers were going to beat us...personal problems or not.

the Laker fans moved to Miami.

Kobe's wish has come true. He can do what he always wanted to do. Score 40 a night and battle for the last playoff seed. Congratulations to him.

Western Conference Teams better than Team Kobe:

San Antonio Spurs
Sacramento Kings
Minnesota Timberwolves
Denver Nuggets
Memphis Grizzlies
Utah Jazz
Houston Rockets
Dallas Mavericks

That makes LA a team that doesn't make the playoffs!

Yeah I'd put the Lake-Show, Jazz, Nuggets, Grizz, and Rockets all on the same level right about now. The Rockets and Nuggets may be a hair better just based on Rockets having Yao/T-Mac and Nuggets having good chemistry.
