View Full Version : Dave Whelan - moaning cunt
The Wire 05-03-2007, 12:00 PM Dave Whelan (chairman of Wigan) has come out today saying that if West Ham survive the drop then he's gonna sue us or sue the premier league. Cunt's having a ****ing laugh - if they'd done us 3-0 do you think he'd be saying anything? No. We turn them over and he's moaning like the ****ing ***** he is.
Stick to rugby you cunt. I ****ing hope one of the two clubs is you, you moaning northern prick.

Al Fayed has said the same mate!
OptimusWolf 05-03-2007, 12:05 PM I wish that clubs like Wigan and Fulham weren't in the PL but they probably will sue you and they might have a case, I know there are some worrying precedents that might have been ignored. But lets hope they don't win, Wigan aren't a club that improve the PL, much as I like Jewell himself.
Lets get Wolves, Nottm Forest and Leeds back in there, some proper big teams.
Tuggers1986 05-03-2007, 12:07 PM I support Wigan, But Whelans being a complete ****!! its even pissed me off!

It's a joke mate - the precedent's been set with Spurs in the 90's. Alan Sugar successfully argued against a points deduction because the offence was committed by the previous owners. So if they give us a points deduction they're going against precedent.
Besides which, we might still go down and then the fine will cripple us anyway. If Wigan cared so much they should have shown some mettle on the pitch.
The Wire 05-03-2007, 12:09 PM I'd like to apologise for the phrase 'northern moaning prick' from my original post to any northeners in here. My mum's from Crewe - I have nothing against those from t'north - just Dave Whelan lol

I agree with all of this.
I still feel the fine was steep, after all there have been many dodgy deals done in the last few years with very little done about it.
To name a few, Liverpool with Ziege, Chelsea tapping up players, Man U doing deals with agents etc etc etc

Nothing to worry about then mate, they're gonna try and fail to get points deducted.
