Anybody else heard this rumor and do you have any sources or links to info?
It'd be a step in the right direction for a possible comeback for Kerr.

View Full Version : Rumor Mill: Arona vs. Kerr at ADCC Zen 02-10-2003, 01:03 AM Anybody else heard this rumor and do you have any sources or links to info? It'd be a step in the right direction for a possible comeback for Kerr. realkaps 02-10-2003, 07:20 AM I read somthing about this at Sherdog but I couldnt confirm from any site so I didnt post it..... DOGGx0 02-10-2003, 12:26 PM to see kerr make a comeback would be phenominal and a pure joy... Tom 02-12-2003, 02:15 PM I read this on Sherdog also, but i want Kerr back and i hope he does good if this is true. Bluecifer 02-12-2003, 02:57 PM That would be sweet. I hope Kerr does come back! Twista 02-12-2003, 03:32 PM and maybe he should have another re-match with vov Tom 02-12-2003, 04:14 PM I have heard Kerr has lost A LOT of muscle/weight! I'm not sure but people have told me this. I would rather see him in a few warm up fights before getting thrown back in there....he's been inactive for what coming on 2 years now? I agree and think that he should have a couple of warm up fights before facing a top fighter. Also, w/out vitamin S he should consider fighting at LH. I think he'd be damn good at that weight. seldomTap 02-12-2003, 05:06 PM I think if this true, he is doing the smart thing coming back through ADCC. Sub wrestling has always been more his thing than MMA IMO as he isn't really a natural striker, although he has worked it a lot over the years. ADCC rules are almost taylor made for him and he should do well again Bluecifer 02-12-2003, 05:57 PM True, but taking on a guy like Arona in Abu Dhabi for his return is still a pretty ballsy choice. ADCC rules may be taylor made for him, but they are for Arona also and he's at the top of his game. I would have prefered he fight Shannon Ritch or Daituro Matsui as a tune up fight. Tom 02-12-2003, 07:51 PM I just want Kerr back in action. Hopefully he had his lift straightened out. seldomTap 02-13-2003, 07:26 PM Arona will be a huge test for him I agree...but I would rather he fight quality opposition in his weight class than take a slightly easier fight. Twista 02-14-2003, 01:00 AM i think kerr wontdo mma anymore, now that hes off the juice, the only real strikes he had was headbutts, but pride and ufc decided to ban it:cuss: vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
