i've read this article and all the time i was wondering when is this journalist is going to stop and he will say that he's just kidding... my only response for this journalist is: cut the crap. what an idiot...

Many of the ultimates are nothing but thugs and ruffians. All that league has done is take a few former nightclub bouncers, knuckle crackers and parolees, put on some fancy TV graphics and told them, "Kick the other guy in the nuts.

what do you think about this article?

It was an opinion piece and that guy should never be called a journalist. Real journalist will actually do research and talk to people in said sport before talking out of their ass. My favorite part was how he kept referring to UFC(MMA) as a bunch of thugs while seemingly to imply that only civilized people are involved in boxing. It was a waste of time. I view it as a master satire piece on the level of John Swift.

Even though Im a bigger boxing fan than MMA. I still wouldn't call the fighters thugs. If this guy would have done any research or watched any of the top fighters he would realize there is a lot of skill involved. Plus discipline and dedication these fighters have.

"UFC equals the Ultimate Farcical Clown league." -I alway thought UFC stood for Underwear Fighting Championship /jk

"De La Hoya and Mayweather can single-handedly save their sport from deteriorating into dust while simultaneously stopping the advance of the UFC barbarians at the gate, trying to destroy boxing by polluting pay-per-view with their brand of low-brow, ghetto-fabulous hooliganism."-Because Mayweather is the complete opposite of ghetto-fabolous hooliganism.

"The UFC has no credibility." -And the ABC Belts does?

I don't even get why people always equate MMA's rise as boxing fall. What boxing is going through right now is boxings own fault. The "journalist" even said it himself"It is full of crooks, con artists and ear biters".
