Hey guys I am trying to help out a promoter.......

We need a 185 pound fighter for Feb 22 in Birmingham, Alabama. Fights are in a cage- 2 5 min rounds. THe guy that needs an opponent has no fights and we would love to have the same from his opponent. This is a GREAT venue to get your feet wet in the NHB fight game. Nice promoter, nice city, nice venue. I got my start in that cage as a matter of fact. If you know anyone please let me know by pm.

Thanks

Blake, does this include travel or not? I need to know, either way I might be able to put a word out and get you someone. I know some managers and promoters out your way, and over here as well. Let me know... post here or catch me on the cell or on AIM.

Since this is an amateur show- fighters arent supposed to get paid. I will tell you this though- the winner gets some "travel" $ and of course he pays your hotel room. I drive 4 hours to get there.....eat.....fight....go out.......put gas in my car.....etc. and I always break even. Basically if you win its enough for normal expenses. However- if you lose--- you lose. no $. Trust me guys-some promoters don't even pay this for amateurs . I have fought for free...landed in the hospital...and had to pay a $300 deductible. I basically paid $300 to get my ass whipped. Oh yeah no elbows in this fight which may make it more appealing for new fighters.

If I had any standup skills (and my wind was up) I'd do this in a heartbeat.

All I got to say is ****!

Do you have any background info on the fighter?

yeah we went to college together. He is about 5'9" 185. Solid. Had about 20 collegiate boxing matches. Takes at a RElson Gracie school now. Still a white belt. Like I said- great opponent for another first timer
