View Full Version : RINGSIDE vs TITLE
Animal Squabbs 05-01-2007, 02:03 AM These two are with out a doubt the two biggest distributors of boxing equipment. From you guys experiences, which company do you prefer? Both of them do sell other brand names like for instance... Ringside sells Reyes and Grant while Titl sells Everlast and the Jordan shoes. Do to the fact that Ringside does have Grant and Reyes I think they have an advantage, but Im talking about RIngside made products vs Title made products. Ultimate Classic vs Platinum, IMF vs GEL.
As far as their gloves go, the top of the line for Ringside is the Ringside Ultimate Classic line, for Title their top of line is the Title Platinum line.
So to start it off...

Versastyle 05-01-2007, 02:06 AM website wise,I like title.
Animal Squabbs 05-01-2007, 02:10 AM Ringside itself doesnt make headgear or shoes, Title makes some great ones, so Title takes the headgear and shoe rounds (5,6) by default.
Round 7 cups

itliangladiator 05-01-2007, 10:55 AM I like Title better
RockyMarcianofan00 05-01-2007, 06:06 PM I perfer everlast over anything...
adurban 05-01-2007, 06:43 PM Both Have Good Quality Products. Title's Gloves Are Actually Not Bad. But I Like Ringside Better. They Have Good Customer Services And So Far Never Screwed Up My Orders Yet. I Can't Say The Same About Title. Sometimes They Dont Even Tell You About The Backorders Until U Actually Recieved Ur Package And One Of Ur Items Is Not There. Some Products However, I Prefer To Buy Them Are Title...such As Boxing Tapes. Ringside Boxing Tapes Are Hard To Tear Up And Sometimes Can Constrict You Harn. But Overall, Ringside All The Way.
punchDrUnK MONK 05-01-2007, 07:42 PM ive bought title gear before... their service isnt bad, emailed answers to all my questions prior to ordering... and the handwraps are AMAZING. really long and flexible. i havent tried gloves of title, but im sure their quality, ringsides stuff looks pretty good too... all my gloves and bags are everlast tho, i stick to the basics :P
Animal Squabbs 05-01-2007, 08:30 PM actually, now that I think of it, I dont Ultimate Classic is actually made by RIngside. The handwraps have "Ringside" on them, but not the gloves and stuff. :dunno:

Pony Boy 08-15-2008, 03:59 PM I'm a coach and I have been using both companies for a long time and there are things that I like and don't like from both. For example, I like Ringside because the carry Cleto Reyes, which is in fact the best in the game and I prefer it over Grant due to the quality in craftsmanship. Ringside gloves are good but you get what you pay for. In Title I like there Title Mexican style gloves and get bag gloves but I dislike Everlast, except for there punch mitts, and conditioning stuff, which is really good. From a coach's experience Cleto Reyes is the best. A lot of people are starting to get into Winning, which is highly over priced because some of their products are made of artificial leather. The only good thing about Winning products is the padding, which does prevent injuries specially during sparring but if your a professional fighter you should be training not to get hit so Winning may cause you to get lazy and take unnecessary shots.
KnuckleUp 08-24-2008, 06:42 PM Just ordered 16 oz lace title gel training gloves have reyes 14 that everyone in gym *****es about (love those gloves)im just tired of hearing about the gloves and cant pay 120 for some mmore reyes gloves so well see how the titles feel, any input
oaklandstephen 08-25-2008, 02:07 AM i like title better, ive ordered from them at least 9 times and ive always gotten what i ordered with in 5 days and ive gotten free stuff from them too. ive ordered from ringside like 3 times and they back ordered some stuff without telling me until i got the package but they did give me a free key chain when i got the thing that was back ordered which i thought was nice. and for the quality i like the gloves from title better and i like the bags from ringside better. oh yeah and the shipping from ringside is more expensive than the shipping from title.

I'm with you, I also dislike Everlast boxing gloves, I've owned three pairs of them and all three went to crap. I need to try some Reyes gloves, I notice you rate Grant above Everlast which I do as well...My grants have held up, but it's time for new gloves, and I'm thinking Reyes
Stormin' Norman 08-26-2008, 05:09 PM If you ever order anything from Title that's worth over 100 dollars, you'll get a catalog of some kind from Everlast and Title every few months...quality bathroom reading material
