Took awhile for someone to start complaining about this. First, it was obviously unintentional. Second, GSP ducked into a punch that would have clearly landed flush on the side of his head. Quit trying to take Serra's win away by saying an illegal blow was the only reason that he won.

Thank you. I agree. It was serra's night. He kicked his ass fair and square.

For sure some fighters just have the night of their lives and win even though they were underdogs. That's what makes any fight game exciting.

I've seen the fight twice.

Both times I was 100 percent convinced GSP was a bit scared of Serra. There's no reason to keep feinting mt strikes at him and flinching like he did when he never did that against Penn or Hughes. That's ridiculous.

Not ridiculous that he was feinting and scared of Serra, but in a way it is because he looked like he had zero confidence whatsoever and had far too much respect for Serra's hands. Yeah that spells knockout.

Oh and I think GSP would sub Serra in a rematch.

Mmmkay good highlight watch that again folks.

Those high kicks GSP was throwing were out of character because of the total lack of snap on them except for like two, that implies that he didn't want to over commit to anything.

Watching the replay again, the punch to the back of the head didn't end the night for GSP, it was the right cross after GSP got up that really finished GSP.

Agreed.

The rabbit shot took GSP off balance and it set up the cross. Definitely the cross was the punch that did him in because I think he was out instantly he just wasn't out cold. But yeah fair and square victory why in the hell are people trying to take away from Serra now? LOL that's ridiculous.

exactly. i 100% agree. when u get hit anywhere on on the ear-line or behind that, it really puts u out of it. and IS ILLEGIAL in mma and boxing, and i hate how they dont use instant replay during and after fights to fix this type of ****, they coulda called time out n let him recover. it was a cheap win, even if it wasnt intentional. gsp would beat serra 99/100 times

now everyone thinks matt serra is a beast but i would bet my house up that he loses the belt in his first defense.
