DA1CATAS 04-29-2007, 06:20 PM uhh RUN! Versastyle 04-29-2007, 06:22 PM I would do compact crunches, those work DMC 04-29-2007, 06:26 PM Crunches will tone your abbs, but you can't see them because you are carring a layer of fat in that area. From what I know everyone has abbs some more toned than others it's really just hard work and genetics. But to see them you have to get rid of that layer of fat. and DA1CATAS is right. Run Run Run DMC:boxing: adietheforestfa 04-29-2007, 06:51 PM Iv got a wine barrel. RockyMarcianofan00 04-29-2007, 08:41 PM In order to see your ABS you need a low Body Fat %.... So yea Cardio, and strengthen your abs with core workouts... KanMan 04-29-2007, 09:37 PM leg lifts, lower ab work, DA1CATAS 04-30-2007, 12:11 PM My body fat as of right now is 9.7.. Peterp 04-30-2007, 11:27 PM Diet is 70% of the equation if you want really low bodyfat% Unless you have great genetics that is msagrain 05-01-2007, 11:07 AM My body fat as of right now is 9.7.. I still look like I can lose the last 10 pounds i think... i'm ripped but i'm not totally ripped to the point where i dont think i could lose more weight. dafish298 05-01-2007, 10:33 PM Catas, I see you really emphasize the running aspect to losing weight and better toned/ripped muscles..just wondering if you lost alot of muscle running or what you did to counteract that? DA1CATAS 05-02-2007, 12:11 AM Catas, I see you really emphasize the running aspect to losing weight and better toned/ripped muscles..just wondering if you lost alot of muscle running or what you did to counteract that? Well I use ti be 215... but i was just slow and BIG.. i had bigger muscles but I wasn't cut.. just one of those big guys.. you would think I lifted... But it was more Body Gaurd.. less Body Builder.. I say less because my biceps still had lots of definition.. Just not the rest of my body feel me? I DID huge sets of push-ups... but I was eating a large amount too.. so i was getting bigger still but no definiton besides my arms.. The fact that I wasnt lifting probaly helped me when i wasnted to lose weight... I'm 174 now and I still hit hard and im faster... Sad part is when I hit the weight room for the first time last thurday (and last time since then) It drained my body totally... So I'm guessing i lost muscle.. But the thing is I still hit with my same power.. mighty be from the push-ups being my main excercise.. I dont really know .. kinda baffles me.. Just happy it works for me. But No i didnt lose alot of muscle running.. I just got even more cut. Running is a must in boxing.. Versastyle 05-02-2007, 12:14 AM I got a 10pack of pepsi at my house. MOREBASS 05-02-2007, 12:03 PM To keep muscle loss to a minimum...I would say that High Intensity Interval Training would be a better fit. Especially for a boxer. Its also a lot more effective at fat burning because it keeps your metabolism running in high gear for hours after the workout as well. Boxing is actually a good example of high intensity interval training. |
