i almost ****in cracked.i'm tellin you, if the wife would not have been with me, it would have been over.a night or 2 inside for rigid, that's for damn sure.
so we are at the grocery store and there are 3 lines open as usual and 6 of those ****in "scan and pay yourself" jobs.we decide to go there even though we have a whole cart full of ****.to make it short, it took us longer that way cause everything you scan and bag, has to be on that weight or the machine stops.i had to keep moving my **** cause i had so much and the mother ****er kept stopping.cashiers were walking over and giving me a hard time about it.i want to know when the **** this **** started to happen.
****in 40 years ago, they used to bag your **** for you, take it to your car and put it in the trunk.now, we are paying too much for food and getting less service.if you go through a lane with a real life in the flesh cashier, most of the time you have to bag your own **** cause there is no bag boy there and she won't do it.

i just can't believe thar we as the consumer let this **** happen.
it's this ****in bull**** that makes people crack.

It is all part of the modern way of faster (questionable), less overheads (less employees = less outgoing pay checks), larger profits (higher price in foods) way of thinking.

In the quest for more money faster, service has been forgotten. People no longer take the time to do things right. I know exactly what you mean Rigid...I won't even go to the grocery store anymore, way too frustrating

it's a ****in shame that the little businesses that offer good services are pushed out by the big corporate *******s.these big companies are **** for service.

I killed 14 people yesterday over a similar incident.

I like the self check out, they have 40 lanes and two lanes open anyway so I would rather do it myself

I bagged my own groceries for the first time last month. I was nervous but I made it through.

Supermarkets are starting to annoy me too. Are there any mailorder grocery places?

There is here...but they cater generally for invalids or the elderly and I don't like the stigma attached with using a service designed for the incapacitated

I do not mind bagging my own groceries. I just hate when they have baggers and they stand around watching you.

If I have a drinking problem is it ok for me to use this service? Cuz when I am drunk I do qualify as "incapacitated".

Anything to avoid self-bagging.

I think you should do it anyway if not for the sheer entertainment of others

Do you think this would lead me to parking in handicapped spaces?

Quite possibly...if you do it well enough, you will be able to stagger out of the car like a half cripple constantly...the tip is a steady flow of alcohol into the body...avoid binging unless it a sunday
