From MMAweekly.......
MMAWeekly's Scott Petersen reports from Japan that Sakuraba will be cleared medically to fight at Pride 25. Here's the interesting part. The doctors were a bit reluctant to have him fight on the card because he needs a bit more time to heal from previous injuries.
Pride defintely wants him on the card, so it looks as though they will monitor Sakuraba's progress by giving him a "tune up" fight and if he looks physically good in this upcoming Pride, they will set up a fight between Sakuraba and Dan Henderson.
Henderson told MMAWeekly last night that he was hoping to fight Sakuraba at Pride 25, but that medically Sakuraba wasn't at 100% so their fight will have to wait.
