Im contemplating getting up early tomorow and going for a good long jog. If i do how many times or how long does it take before you notice any changes in your fitness or stamina. I could maybe do it twice a week.. more if i really really put in the effort to make time. I know for a fact id feel good after if i did do it. Im soooooo tempted but then the time will come and il just lie in bed from 9 and think about it untill about 11. I really want to do it but i know when i wake up i'll be like im too tired or i couldnt be bothered. Also if i did go out when i got home id probs smoke a bit of blow. Would this just make the whole jog a waste of time or will it not make much difference?

You will see changes within 2 weeks. If you do it 5 days a week you will see big changes in a month. I started and couldn't get 500meters without giving up, now I can go 2km and I am fine.
Good Luck.

I was running 6 days a week and saw improvements but I changed to running long distance 3 times a week and sprints 3 times a week and noticed a difference a lot quicker. I noticed when I run long distance I can run longer and faster now that I've been doing the sprints.

I need to find the motivation to get up early though, and is the dope thing going to badly affect me?

You got to figure out what motivates you. For me, right now it's getting on the Air Force boxing team so I know I got to RUN a lot to get there. You just got to do it and over time it will become part of your routine. It won't be such a chore. Music also helps when you run cause you don't think about it so much. I listen to Rocky songs to get me pumped for a run.

I started at a mile and a half cause that's what I have to do for my job. Now I run 3 miles after a month and I'll just keep adding on as I can. I wake up put on Rocky music and just go. If isn't wasn't for an ipod I prolly wouldn't have stayed dedicated to running.

RockyMarcianofan00 about a month and a half.

I was surprised how quick it happened.
I don't drink or smoke so that might have a effect as well.

lol if your smoking forget about it.. Get over thgan mental hang-up first then running will be easy.

Beat whats infront of you before you move on to the next.

Its actually not that easy, i know supsudly its impossible to be addicted to weed but i seriously think i am, its probably a mental thing though and i just think i am so keep smoking it. It was raining this morning so i didnt go running and i was tired.. shows how motivated i am... i really want to be but i just cant get into the right state of mind for it all.

What do you want to box for?

Money?
Fame?
Women?
Sport?
Fun?
Hobby?
Help someone?
All of em....?

You have to start with a reason... and then see how much it really matters to you.

Thinking about the woman and hobby really, is it really possible to be on a decent wage from boxing unless they started boxing and took it serious from about the age of 8. Im 17 and took it seriously for about 4 months, lost interest and im trying to take it seriously again.
