Cro Cop getting knocked out in the UFC destroys the myth of Pride fighters being better. So far they have entered the UFC and got humiliated. UFC truly has the best MMA fighters. I knew Couture would destroy Cro Cop if they ever fought and this KO of the so called mighty Cro Cop proves it. I bet Fedor isn't really shit either.

Fedor is the almighty. He never fools himself. He doesn't allow his ego to become inflated by praise and hype. He never comes into the ring to prove himself. He always fights the other fighters weakness and takes fighters out as quick as possible. Fedor is the man.

I agree 100% with Juggernauts thread regarding the fighter and not the organization. I for one stand corrected with Gonzaga's performance. He fought an awesome fight and I give him props for shocking the world. First GSP and now Mirko. Who is next!?? Perhaps the great and invicible Ice Man.

When I heard that Crop Cop was outweighed by more than 20 pounds, I knew it might be trouble. However, I dont think anyone could have predicted that the fight would be so onesided. Gonzaga was like a tank, he came on way more agressive than anyone could have expected. He took a vicious cro cop kick to the mid section which didnt even phase him as he took cro cop to the floor. CC has great ground defense, and would have been able to defend against almost anyone, except that Gonzaga was just so strong and determined that he was able to cut CC badly. Then when they stood the fights up (a controversial move that should have favored CC) Gonzaga turns the tables on CC and knocks him out with a patented Cro Copesque kick to the side of the head. Brutal knockout, good to see CC walk away bc it looked like he was badly hurt. Hopefully he comes back stronger and better for his next fight, definitely a huge upset, in a hear of upsets for MMA.

Gonzaga seemed like the much bigger man. I still felt though Cro Cop was going to land one of his leg kicks and it might be over, not the other way around. Gonzaga seems like a well rounded fighter, and could have a long stay in the elite's in the HW division.
